About

How Rally Now works

Rally Now (Rally for short) is a website where you can find a personal trainer or an open class in south London, see their prices and free times, and book and pay in one place. Trainers are independent; Rally handles the booking and the payment.

Where Rally operates

How trainers join and are approved

Trainers sign up and build a profile: what they teach, where they train, their prices and their weekly availability. They can add qualifications and insurance details; anything they don't add is shown as not provided.

Rally reviews each profile before it appears to clients. Trainers confirm that they hold any qualifications they claim and only coach adults. Where a trainer sends evidence of a qualification or insurance, Rally reviews it and may mark it as verified — this is a review of the evidence provided, not an independent check, and Rally doesn't certify or employ trainers.

How clients find, book and pay

Search by area, day and type of training, or browse the Today and Classes pages. Each trainer's profile shows their prices and the times they're actually free.

Pick a time and enter your card. You won't pay anything today — you're only charged if the trainer accepts. If the trainer declines or doesn't reply in time, nothing is taken.

Rally adds a flat £2.50 booking fee per session (£1 for an open class place), shown before you pay. Some trainers also offer blocks of several sessions, paid together when the trainer accepts. See what a personal trainer costs in south London.

Cancellations

  • A booking can be cancelled free of charge within 1 hour of being made.
  • Client cancels with more than 24 hours' notice: full refund, including the booking fee.
  • Client cancels with less than 24 hours' notice: the client forfeits 50% of the session price to the trainer, as well as the booking fee.
  • Trainer cancels: the client is always refunded in full, including the booking fee. The trainer pays the booking fee, plus 10% of the session price if they cancel with less than 24 hours' notice (unless it's within 1 hour of the booking being made).
  • Client doesn't show up: the trainer is paid in full and the booking fee isn't refunded. Trainer doesn't show up: treated as a late trainer cancellation.

Each session in a block follows these rules on its own. Full details, including dangerous weather, are in the terms of service.

What trainers pay

Listing is free, with no monthly or listing fees. Rally takes 7.5% commission only when a session goes ahead. Trainers are paid through Stripe: earnings reach their Stripe account about 24 hours after a session and their bank about 48 hours after. See pricing and for trainers.
