Where people train in Peckham

Peckham Rye Common

The main event — 113 acres of flat open common used for circuits, sprints and group bootcamps.

Peckham Rye Park

The formal half next door: sheltered paths, a Japanese garden and quieter corners for one-to-one and mobility work.

Burgess Park

A lake loop, a BMX track and long flat paths — good for tempo runs and longer conditioning sessions.

Peckham Rye station is a five-minute walk from the common, so trainers listing SE15 can nearly always meet you at a park gate.

Personal training in Peckham — questions

+How much does a personal trainer in Peckham cost?

Most one-to-one sessions in Peckham are priced between £30 and £60 an hour, set by each trainer. Rally adds a flat £2.50 booking fee per private session and £1 per open class place — there's no membership or subscription. Booking regularly? Many trainers also offer blocks of 3, 5 or 10 sessions.

+Do I have to buy a gym membership to train in Peckham?

No. Plenty of trainers in Peckham work outdoors, usually in Peckham Rye Common, with no venue cost at all. If you book a trainer who works from a gym, you'll pay that gym's day pass on the day — the price is shown on their listing before you book, and Rally only lists gyms that sell day passes.

+Can I book a single session, or a block?

Both. Book one session, or a block of 3, 5 or 10 one-hour sessions with the same trainer, picking every date from their live diary. Your card is authorised, and you're only charged once the trainer accepts. You can still reschedule any single session in a block.

+What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 24 hours before the session and you're refunded everything you paid, booking fee included. Inside 24 hours, half the session fee goes to the trainer for the time they've held and the booking fee isn't returned. If the trainer cancels, you're refunded in full — booking fee included — or offered an alternative time.

+Are trainers in Peckham insured and qualified?

Every trainer on Rally submits their insurance details and qualifications, and we check them before their listing goes live. You can see their credentials on their profile before you book.

+Can I train outdoors in winter in Peckham?

Yes — most outdoor trainers run through the winter, moving to firmer paths and sheltered corners of Peckham Rye Common when the ground is wet. If you'd rather be indoors, filter for gym-based trainers instead.
