One Tree Hill

The signature Honor Oak session — a steep woodland climb with a flat summit plateau, made for hill sprints and leg-day circuits.

Blythe Hill Fields

Big open fields with one of the best views in south London — good for circuits, intervals and bootcamp-style group work.

Horniman Gardens

A short walk towards Forest Hill, with terraced lawns and quieter corners for one-to-one strength and mobility work.

Ladywell Fields

Flat riverside paths down the hill, useful for steady runs and pram-friendly post-natal sessions.

Personal training in Honor Oak — questions

+How much does a personal trainer in Honor Oak cost?

Most one-to-one sessions in Honor Oak are priced between £30 and £60 an hour, set by each trainer. Rally adds a flat £2.50 booking fee per private session and £1 per open class place — there's no membership or subscription. Booking regularly? Many trainers also offer blocks of 3, 5 or 10 sessions.

+Do I have to buy a gym membership to train in Honor Oak?

No. Plenty of trainers in Honor Oak work outdoors, usually in One Tree Hill, with no venue cost at all. If you book a trainer who works from a gym, you'll pay that gym's day pass on the day — the price is shown on their listing before you book, and Rally only lists gyms that sell day passes.

+Can I book a single session, or a block?

Both. Book one session, or a block of 3, 5 or 10 one-hour sessions with the same trainer, picking every date from their live diary. Your card is authorised, and you're only charged once the trainer accepts. You can still reschedule any single session in a block.

+What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 24 hours before the session and you're refunded everything you paid, booking fee included. Inside 24 hours, half the session fee goes to the trainer for the time they've held and the booking fee isn't returned. If the trainer cancels, you're refunded in full — booking fee included — or offered an alternative time.

+Are trainers in Honor Oak insured and qualified?

Every trainer on Rally submits their insurance details and qualifications, and we check them before their listing goes live. You can see their credentials on their profile before you book.

+Can I train outdoors in winter in Honor Oak?

Yes — most outdoor trainers run through the winter, moving to firmer paths and sheltered corners of One Tree Hill when the ground is wet. If you'd rather be indoors, filter for gym-based trainers instead.
