Personal trainers in Greenwich
Greenwich has the best outdoor training terrain in south London: a real hill, wide open parkland and river paths. Expect a mix of park bootcamps, running coaching and gym sessions near the town centre.
Where people train in Greenwich
Greenwich Park
The Observatory hill is a serious climb — trainers use it for hill repeats, sled-free leg work and conditioning finishers.
The Thames Path at Greenwich
Flat and fast for steady runs, and quiet early in the morning before the tourists arrive.
Blackheath (north edge)
Enormous open space, no obstacles, ideal for shuttle runs and large group circuits.
Cutty Sark DLR, Greenwich and Maze Hill stations all put trainers within a short walk of the park gates.

Personal training in Greenwich — questions
+How much does a personal trainer in Greenwich cost?
Most one-to-one sessions in Greenwich are priced between £30 and £60 an hour, set by each trainer. Rally adds a flat £2.50 booking fee per private session and £1 per open class place — there's no membership or subscription. Booking regularly? Many trainers also offer blocks of 3, 5 or 10 sessions.
+Do I have to buy a gym membership to train in Greenwich?
No. Plenty of trainers in Greenwich work outdoors, usually in Greenwich Park, with no venue cost at all. If you book a trainer who works from a gym, you'll pay that gym's day pass on the day — the price is shown on their listing before you book, and Rally only lists gyms that sell day passes.
+Can I book a single session, or a block?
Both. Book one session, or a block of 3, 5 or 10 one-hour sessions with the same trainer, picking every date from their live diary. Your card is authorised, and you're only charged once the trainer accepts. You can still reschedule any single session in a block.
+What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancel more than 24 hours before the session and you're refunded everything you paid, booking fee included. Inside 24 hours, half the session fee goes to the trainer for the time they've held and the booking fee isn't returned. If the trainer cancels, you're refunded in full — booking fee included — or offered an alternative time.
+Are trainers in Greenwich insured and qualified?
Every trainer on Rally submits their insurance details and qualifications, and we check them before their listing goes live. You can see their credentials on their profile before you book.
+Can I train outdoors in winter in Greenwich?
Yes — most outdoor trainers run through the winter, moving to firmer paths and sheltered corners of Greenwich Park when the ground is wet. If you'd rather be indoors, filter for gym-based trainers instead.
